Privacy Policy

What we collect

• Usage analytics: we use PostHog to record page views, referrers, device and browser type, and anonymised interaction events so we can see which pages are useful. PostHog may set cookies or local storage on your device for this.
• Contact details you give us: when you book a call through Cal.com, email us, or message us through the chat widget (Tawk.to), we receive the name, email address, and message content you provide.
• Server logs: our hosting provider records IP addresses, request paths, and timestamps for security and debugging. These are kept for a limited time and are not used for profiling.

What we do not do

• We do not sell or rent personal data.
• We do not run advertising on this site or share data with ad networks.
• We do not use affiliate links in blog posts. Product and vendor mentions are editorial and unpaid.

Third-party services

The following services process data on our behalf: PostHog (analytics), Cal.com (call scheduling), Tawk.to (chat widget), Sanity (content management), and our hosting provider. Each has its own privacy policy and processes data under its own terms.

Cookies

Cookies and local storage on this site are used only for analytics and for the chat widget to keep a conversation open between page loads. You can block them in your browser without losing access to any page.

Retention

Analytics data is retained on PostHog under its default retention. Emails and call bookings are kept while we are in contact with you and for a reasonable period afterwards for our records.

Your rights

You can ask us what personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email akshit@heydev.us and we will respond within 30 days. If you are in the EU, UK, or another jurisdiction with data-protection law, you also have the right to complain to your local supervisory authority.

Changes

If we change how we collect or use data, we will update this page and the date at the top.
